Established in 1955, the Diocese of Gweru has faithfully served the people of God for over six decades.

You can join your local parish guilds, associations, or ministries such as the Youth Commission, Catholic Women’s League, or Caritas. Speak with your parish priest or deanery representatives to get started.
The Catholic liturgy follows a rich tradition of prayer, scripture, and sacrament. At Mass, you will participate in prayers, hymns, readings from Scripture, and receive the Holy Eucharist (if you are a practicing Catholic).
Membership begins at baptism. If you are new to Gweru Diocese, simply register at your local parish, where you will be welcomed into the community.
The Diocese supports many commissions, including Youth, Education, Health, Liturgy and Sacred Music, Social Communications, Caritas, and the Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace (CCJP).
